Puez Geisler Visitor Centre
In December 2009, the seventh nature reserve visitor centre in the South Tyrol opened in St. Magdalena – just around the corner from the Profanterhof. This visitor centre is located in the Villnöss Valley because it offers the main access route into the Puez Geisler Nature Reserve and is within easy reach from the Eisack/Isarco Valley.
The Visitor Centre is the central point of information for the Puez Geisler Nature Reserve. Its aim is to raise awareness of the geological, botanical and cultural riches of this area and to inspire enthusiasm about protecting it.
Opening times:
From May to October and from late December to late March – Tuesday to Saturday 9.30 – 12.30 and 14.30 – 18.00. In July and August the Visitor Centre will be open also on Sundays.
